Program Topics

The 2009 Economy: - A financial journalist with 20 years of experience, Ron Insana cuts through the murky waters of high finance and offers rare insights that help business decision-makers and investors at all levels. He casts an eye towards Wall Street’s future amidst the important issues at stake, discussing such hot-button election year topics as taxes, the credit crunch, global markets, energy prices and health care - and how these issues will affect investment and markets.

TrendWatching: Looking for the Next Bubble - Too often, the public is the last in and the last out of the investment game. Coming off the tough lessons learned after the dot-com debacle, most investors feel confident that they would never again be caught up in a bubble again. Or could they? Is the real estate market truly the safe haven that it appears to be or could it possibly be the next bubble to burst? With the current economic climate serving as a backdrop, Insana transforms the insights gleaned from history into savvy guidelines for profiting from future bubbles thus providing a tremendous tool for any investor.

The Message of the Markets - Every day the world's markets are reflecting information not yet revealed to the general public: events as dramatic as the outcome of a war, as tragic as a nuclear accident in some distant part of the globe, or as mundane, yet vitally important, as the future and still-secret decisions of the Federal Reserve. In order to understand what the markets are saying, you have to know how to listen to and interpret the messages they are sending. During this enlightening presentation, Ron Insana shows his audience how to understand the signals put out by the markets, and how to use that information to gain an edge in their financial decisions. On a more personal level, Insana demonstrates how individuals who heed the warnings of the markets will make better personal decisions regarding investments, mortgages and loans, real estate purchases, career choices and much more.
