She partnered with G-III Apparel Group and Major League Baseball to design and distribute a line of Ladies MLB apparel. The line was so popular that she joined forces with the NFL, NBA and NHL to make TOUCH available to fans of football, basketball and hockey as well.
Alyssa has dyslexia & had to overcome its symptoms to have a successful acting career. In a 2004 interview, she explained one way she deals with the disorder:
“I've stumbled over words while reading from teleprompters. Sir John Gielgud, whom I worked with on The Canterville Ghost years ago, gave me great advice. When I asked how he memorized his monologues, he said, "I write them down". I use that method to this day. It not only familiarizes me with the words, it makes them my own.”
Alyssa Milano is an ideal speaker for charitable organizations or business meetings looking to have a speaker with “Star Power” that can back up her words with real life experiences as an artist, business woman & philanthropist. As a public speaker, Milano has enthralled different types of audiences - from the men and women of corporate America to young people at college graduations and school events who would benefit greatly from a motivational speaker that has seen her share of adversity and risen above it.
