Affluent Insights is a business development, marketing communications, sales training, public speaking and research consultancy specializing in helping companies penetrate the luxury market. The Luxury Marketing Council is a global think tank, collaboration greenhouse and intelligence source for marketers focused on the affluent. Ramey owns and chairs The Luxury Marketing Council chapters in Miami, The Palm Beaches, Central Florida, Tampa Bay, Sarasota and The Latin Luxury Marketing Council.

Ramey consults daily with many of the finest luxury brands in the world. He sits on the New York City based Luxury Marketing Council Executive Committee, RetailWire's "Brain Trust," the Advisory Panel for Retail Customer Experience, and is a team consultant for The Floor Covering Institute. Ramey also writes a column for Floor Covering Weekly, a publication operated by Hearst Business Media. He has earned the "Leadership – Top 5%" appellation from Gerson Lehrman Group for his work with mutual funds, banks and private equity firms.
