Gerald Jampolsky, M.D. is a graduate of Stanford Medical School and a child and adult psychiatrist. He founded the first International Center for Attitudinal Healing in 1975. There are now dozens of centers/groups located around the world offering free emotional support for children and adults dealing with life threatening illnesses, loss and grief, relationship, trauma, and crisis challenges, as well as a host of other services.
Diane Cirincione, Ph.D. is a therapist, businesswoman, and author/co-author of several books. In addition to a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, she also holds a B.S. in organizational behavior and a specialization in domestic violence. She has founded and owned four companies.
They have lectured worldwide on mental and physical health; the transformative power of change; attitudinal healing; loss and grief; death and dying; and other life transitions. They have also focused on the healing power of forgiveness and the healing of relationships as well as how to build resilience through crisis, challenge, and change. Over the last three decades they have worked cross-culturally in 54 countries and have both been the recipients of many international humanitarian and achievement awards and have appeared on numerous national TV and radio programs. In 2005, Dr. Jampolsky also received the American Medical Associations Excellence in Medicine-Pride in the Profession Award for his contribution and innovation to the field of medicine and health. Currently, they both serve on the faculty of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, Department of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine.
Dr. Jampolsky and Dr. Cirincione are married and have written 16 books that are published in 34 languages including Love is Letting Go of Fear, Change Your Mind—Change Your Life, Out of Darkness—Into the Light, Forgiveness: The Greatest Healer of All, A Mini Course for Life, and most recently, Finding Our Way Home.
