Television personality, American socialite, mother and businesswoman, Kris Jenner has it all. As one of the busiest moms (and grandmothers!) in Hollywood, she is recognized for her role as matriarch and manager to the Kardashian family. As a successful entrepreneur and reality personality, Jenner is also best known for propelling the careers of her three daughters, Kim, Khloé and Kourtney.
When the television debut of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on the E! network premiered in 2007, the Kardashians immediately became a household name. The family reality series focuses on the inner workings of both the professional and personal lives of all members of the Kardashian family. The success of the series has led to three spin-offs including Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, and Khloé & Lamar. Additionally, Jenner has appeared on and hosted several television programs including Good Morning America, The Talk and America's Next Top Model, among many others.
Kris is a trailblaizer and has built the Kardashian empire from the ground up, which to date includes media holdings, product manufacturing and fashion designs. The family started their careers as owners of two boutique stores in Calabasas, CA and have since expanded to multimillion dollar endorsements with OPI nails, Sketchers, Sears, Shoe Dazzle, Mattel and many more to come.
In 1978, Kris was first married to Robert Kardashian, who is most recognized as one of O.J. Simpson's lawyers, and had four children together: Rob, Jr., Khloé, Kim, and Kourtney. The two divorced in 1990, shortly before Robert was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, which he passed away from in 2003. Kris is currently married to Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, with whom she has two daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. As a reality star, she and her husband, Bruce lead the iconic family. The seventh season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired Summer 2012.
Kris released her debut autobiographical book in fall 2011 titled, Kris Jenner…and all Things Kardashian, which gives an inside look at her role of “Momager” to her six children and shares the reality of living her life in the celebrity spotlight, touching on topics that will resonate with women everywhere -- love, loss, marraige, divorce, motherhood and faith.
