Niels is something of a rare animal. He combines two roles in his client work: On one hand, he offers inspirational, thought-provoking, highly conceptual and entertaining impulses as a world-class speaker. On the other hand, he helps organizations internationally with triggering, mapping and leading profound & robust change initiatives as a highly effective advisor. Few people are capable of doing both, on the same high level of professionality. Niels combines all of that with a literally boundary-less, world-wide scope and with speaking four of the world´s most important languages fluently (English, German, Spanish and Portuguese). He has an international network of trusted partners and colleagues that he relies upon in all of his advisory work.
Niels Pflaeging is a passionate advocate for a “new breed“ of leadership and profound change in organizations. He is founder and associate of the BetaCodex Network, and president of his own consulting firm based in Wiesbaden, Germany. Prior to the BetaCodex Network, Niels was for five years a director with the prestigious Beyond Budgeting Round Table BBRT.
Niels´ second book, Leading with Flexible Targets - Beyond Budgeting in Practice was awarded the Financial Times Germany Best Business Book award, in 2006. Both this book and his latest one, entitled Organize for Complexity: How to Get Life Back Into Work to Build the High-Performance Organization were lauded by critics and readers and became bestsellers. Since 2006, Niels has been strongly involved in transformational change projects for firms both in Europe and the Americas. Niels has more than 10 years of consulting experience with companies large and small, and teaches at several academic institutions in Europe.
“Pflaeging is capable of leading teams towards an agreed objective. Sometimes warmly, sometimes provocatively, but always intelligently and diligently. How he does that is true art.“
“We are used to hosting lots and lots of presentations and events at Seibert-Media. Niels´ keynote was easily the best speaking event we ever had.“
