The son of Croatian immigrants, Herjavec’s esteemed technology career was hard-earned. Using what he learned, Herjavec left and founded BRAK Systems, a Canadian integrator of Internet security software, which he sold to AT&T Canada for $30.2 million. He went on to negotiate the sale of another technology company to Nokia for $225 million.
