Unleashing the Power of Innovation

Innovation is essential for survival, growth and sharpening your competitive edge. Face it, your competition has the same product, technology and delivery system that you do. You are facing down tremendous change whether you are rushing to get your latest product to market or trying to drive more traffic to your website. The fact is the ONLY thing that will keep you ahead of your competition is being able to create breakthrough ideas and then putting those ideas in to action. In this program, you will experience proven techniques to help you become deliberately innovative-- skills you will apply immediately. Using the innovation skills learned in this program General Motors invented a product that cost $1.50 to make and saved the company $50,000 a week, after attending this program in the morning the production staff of Newsday implemented what they learned that afternoon and saved $22, 000, that night, and in 15 minutes Clorox solved a problem that had been plaguing the company for 77 years. This program can be specifically tailored for audiences in business, technology, medicine, economic development, agriculture, education and the church.

Leading on the Innovative Edge

The organizations that will thrive over time are not the ones with the deepest pockets, but the ones that can unleash and apply the creativity of their entire workforce. Whether you lead a multi-million-dollar corporation, help a volunteer group, coach Little League, teach in a classroom or lead a non-profit organization, this program will provide you with the cutting-edge information you need to take you leadership and creativity to a new level. By applying the innovation principles experienced in this program Buffalo New York developed a plan to secure one billion dollars for economic development, SC Johnson invented the Off® Mosquito Lamp and Mead Paper developed a new world-class line of products and saved the company more than $1/2 million per year. This program can be specifically tailored for audience in economic development, business, medicine, media, agriculture, education and the church.

Leading Innovation Teams

This program builds on the “Unleashing the Power of Creativity TM: Creative Problem Solving Basics” program. It is for managers/supervisors/team leaders who have been identified as Creative Problem Solving “champions.” Whether you lead a multi-million dollar corporation, help a volunteer group, coach Little League, teach in a classroom, or work for a non-profit organization, this program will provide you with the cutting-edge research and crucial information you need to take your leadership (and creativity) to a new level. During the program, participants lead Creative Problem Solving groups to tackle real organizational challenges that require group input.

Creating your Future

Where is your company going to be in five years? Do you know? Does your team know? Do you have a clear picture of your future? There is an old proverb that says that the poorest person in the world is not the one without money, it is the person without vision. In this session, you and your team will create your vision for your future and develop specific steps to get there. You will be amazed at how short a time it takes to accomplish great things when the entire team shares the same vision. This program has been used to set the vision for the Los Angeles Times, the United States Geological Survey and St. Joseph University Parish in Buffalo, N.Y.
